Otafest 2014 will be held May long weekend as usual, at the University of Calgary. The Calgary Go club will be there in room ST147 on Sunday May 18th,
from 2:30pm to 5:30pm.
Come by and help teach some beginners, and introduce more people to the world of Go!
The Calgary Go Club will have a tent at the 2013 Chinatown Street Festival on August 10th. If you play Go, please drop by and help us teach some beginners! Call Vincent @ 403-998-6829 or send mail to the mailing list if you need more details, but you can show up anytime and it'll be appreciated!
Due to the widespread flooding in the city, particularly around Chinatown, we've cancelled the meeting this Sunday (June 23). Stay dry and out of the way of emergency and cleanup crews, and come again next week.
The Go club will be taking a break for the Christmas season. We will not be meeting on December 23 and December 30. Normal meetings will resume on January 6, 2013. See you then!
There will be no Go club meetings on December 25th and January 1, as these fall on Christmas Day and New Year's Day respectively. Meetings shall resume January 8th, 2012. See you then!
Today's crazy wind storm has forced the City of Calgary to shut down the downtown core. Tonight's meeting is cancelled. Stay inside where it's safe, and we'll see you next week.
Due to a scheduling conflict, the regular club facilities are not
available for our regular meeting on Sunday, October 30. Instead, we
will meet on Saturday, October 29 at 6:30pm.
Regular Sunday meetings will resume on November 6. See you there!
